The DevOps Engineer 2 supports the Platform Engineering team in implementing and maintaining cloud and automation solutions that enable rapid delivery while ensuring stability and security. This role focuses on assisting with design, deployment, and automation of infrastructure and applications, practicing CI/CD principles, and contributing to operational efficiencies. The engineer works under moderate guidance, solving straightforward problems and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis, design, deployment, and automation of infrastructure and application solutions.
• Support administration and optimization of existing platforms.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Implement CI/CD practices using automation tools and scripting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure reliability and availability.
• Document solutions and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed.
• Configure and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Provision basic cloud resources (AWS EC2, S3, Azure VMs) under guidance.
• Write simple automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for routine tasks.
