Job summary

Macquarie Group in the Philippines is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-based treasury platforms. You will build automation, optimize performance, and ensure reliable, scalable production systems across the full delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

Join a collaborative technology team supporting Group Treasury initiatives that drive transformational change across liquidity, transfer pricing, and interest rate risk management platforms. Working with modern AWS cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps practices, you will help build and support scalable, resilient systems while contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement within a dynamic enterprise environment.

What role will you play?

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based solutions that underpin critical treasury and financial risk management processes. Working across the full delivery lifecycle, you will build automation solutions, develop system enhancements, and help maintain reliable and scalable production platforms.

You will leverage technologies such as AWS, C#, PowerShell, SQL Server, SSIS, and Control-M to drive automation and operational efficiency. As part of a DevOps-focused team, you will provide production support, monitor system performance, investigate incidents, and implement improvements that enhance platform stability and resilience. You will also collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs while promoting modern engineering and automation practices.

What You Offer

• 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services, particularly EKS, EC2, and cloud infrastructure design and support
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, C#, Python, or similar technologies and exposure to AI-driven automation
• Solid experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and database development or support
• Experience in production support, monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams
• Exposure to test automation, CI/CD practices, or Big Data technologies such as Spark, Presto, and Airflow is an advantage.
