Job Description
- The Design Engineer for Data Center works with the design manager, account managers, project managers, CAD operators, and the team of technicians to design data center systems that meet our customers’ specific needs.
- Provides Pre-Sales Support for Data Center requirements, mainly for Power and Cooling solutions
- Analyzes and reviews user requirements to determine the feasibility of designing and developing high-level IT solutions
- Prepares custom-fit design project proposals based on the client's requirements to provide the highest level of solutions
- Conducts Product presentation with the clients to discuss the proposed solution
- Provides close collaboration with suppliers/vendors and third-party contractors to deliver the solution seamlessly.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering, IT or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in data center design and construction, Network Infrastructure Planning, Structured Cabling Design, Data Center Architecture, Low-Voltage Systems Integration, and Technical Documentation
- Experience with AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data center cooling, power, and security systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
