Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a Deputy Manager to support I-Block operations. You will be responsible for following Manager-Production instructions and carrying out shift production activities, while maintaining logbooks and preserving clean, safe work areas.

You will ensure SOPs are followed and participate in trainings and safety programs. You will also coordinate with engineers for timely maintenance, manage batch-related documentation, and monitor PPE usage to uphold high SHE standards

Qualifications

• MSc in a related field is required.
• Experience in production operations and shift responsibilities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Follow Manager-Production instructions and perform shift production activities.
• Maintain the logbook per shift and ensure housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Strictly adhere to SOPs and participate in scheduled trainings.
• Coordinate with engineers for timely maintenance and ensure PPE usage and safety.

Deputy Manager

Job Description

Replacement of Venkatesh Kotha is essential to operate I-Block operations, he is serving as 2nd line to manager.

1. 1. To follow-up the instruction of Manager-Production and carry out shift production activities.
2. 2. Maintain the logbook as per shift activities.
3. 3. Ensure the cleanliness and good housekeeping in respective area.
4. 4. Strictly follow the SOPs in shop floor.
5. 5. Participate in the trainings as per schedule.
6. 6. Ensure all the raw materials are kept ready for the batches and all batch sheets are filled properly.
7. 7. Planning and execution of shift related activities during batch execution.
8. 8. To ensure online documentation during batch execution as well as on daily basis.
9. 9. Coordinate with Engineers for the completing the maintenance job in time.
10. 10. Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness.
11. 11. Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately.
12. 12. Impart SHE training to operators, helpers and contract workers.
13. 13. Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report to Manager-Production.
14. 14. Involving in the dispatch activities of products manufacturing in plant.
15. 15. Participate actively in preparation of relevant to EHS (HAZAP, HIRA & Hazard Studies.)
16. 16. Based on the requirements, indent the BMRs, BPRs, ECRs, Logbooks, Protocols, Reports and Checklists.
17. 17. In the absence of superior, responsible for his work.
18. 18. Follow the Previous shift information /Manager’s instructions and complete the assigned tasks, on time.
