About the role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join the team at Seafoods Varities Corp. This is a full-time position based in Meycauayan City, Bulacan. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering our products to customers in a safe, timely and professional manner. This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service and ensuring the quality of our seafood products reaches customers in optimal condition. You will be the face of our company during customer interactions, making this a key position in our logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

• Operating a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently whilst adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety policies

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with care, ensuring products are properly organised and secured for transport

• Following planned delivery routes to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers

• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including documentation and signatures from customers

• Providing courteous and professional customer service during each delivery interaction

• Conducting basic vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues or damage promptly

• Handling cash and card payments from customers when required, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle

• Communicating with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during product handling and transportation

What we're looking for

• A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type you will be operating

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role within the food or courier industry

• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices

• Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently

• Physical fitness and ability to load and unload heavy items regularly

• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting delivery deadlines

• Good communication skills and a professional, customer-friendly demeanour

• Familiarity with the Meycauayan City, Bulacan area and surrounding regions is advantageous

• Basic proficiency with mobile devices and delivery tracking systems
