Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials to customers. The role includes assisting in the checking, loading, unloading, and proper piling/arrangement of items in the truck to ensure accuracy, safety, and prevention of damage during transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials to customer locations.
• Ensure on-time delivery while following assigned routes and schedules.
• Assist in checking items against delivery documents before loading and unloading.
• Properly load, pile, secure, and arrange materials inside the truck to prevent damage during transit.
• Inspect goods for any visible damage and report discrepancies immediately.
• Obtain customer signatures on delivery receipts and return documents to the office.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights, etc.) before and after trips.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
• Report any vehicle issues, delivery delays, or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
• Assist warehouse personnel when needed.

Qualifications

• At least High School Graduate.
• With valid Professional Driver’s License (Restriction Code appropriate for truck type).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver is an advantage.
