Job summary

AGM Ventures Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver for our Santa Rosa, Laguna location. The role involves transporting materials and products, inspecting vehicles, and supporting warehouse tasks while maintaining safety and compliance with traffic laws.

The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma, a valid driver's license (RC:1-4), and strong teamwork and communication skills. Reliability and honesty are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

  • At least High School Graduate.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license (RC:1,2,3-4) and be able to perform basic troubleshooting for trucks.
  • Knowledge of road signs and traffic rules & regulations.
  • With good aptitude and able to work well with others as a team player.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Able to follow instructions with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be hardworking, honest and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

  • Drive delivery trucks to transport materials and products to destinations including plants, residences and offices.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment and ensure proper working condition; include cleaning the vehicle.
  • Assist delivery helpers in loading and unloading pallet deliveries.
  • Obey traffic laws and established traffic/transport procedures.
  • Read maps and follow written/verbal directions.
  • Verify contents of inventory loads against delivery papers.
  • Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires, fuses, bulbs or spark plugs.
  • Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
  • Report mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
  • Report delays, accidents, or other transport issues to bases or other vehicles.
  • Turn in receipts and money received from collections.
  • Maintain tools and equipment issued for maintenance of trucks.
  • Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, such as inspecting incoming pallets.
  • Take on other tasks assigned by officers from time to time.
  • Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers and the public.

  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. This includes cleaning the vehicle.
  • Assist delivery helpers in loading and unloading pallet deliveries from the truck.
  • Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
  • Read maps, and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
  • Verify the contents of inventory loads against delivery papers.
  • Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, and spark plugs.
  • Present bills and receipts, and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
  • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
  • Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles.
  • Turn in receipts and money received from collections.
  • Use and maintain the tools and equipment issued for maintenance of trucks properly.
  • Assist in some warehouse tasks as the need arises such as inspection of incoming pallet deliveries.
  • Assume other tasks which may be assigned by officers from time to time.
  • Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, and other external sources.
