Job summary

Agacons Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced driver to safely transport staff and materials across Luzon. The role requires maintaining clean vehicles, adhering to traffic regulations, and keeping accurate time records for vehicle movements.

The ideal candidate should have a valid license, 2+ years of driving experience in the Manila/Laguna regions, and be willing to relocate to any Luzon/Visayas project location. This position offers growth in a growing construction firm.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local roads in Luzon preferred.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience in Manila/Laguna and surrounding areas.
• Willing to relocate to any project location in Luzon and Visayas.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking to avoid towing.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
• Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.

QUALITIES

• At least high school graduate or with Vocational Course
• with valid Driver's License
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
• Can drive MT and AT service vehicles such as Canter, ELF Truck, 6-wheeler trucks
• Boom Operator or with Certificate as Operator is highly encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 or more years of experience in driving in Manila Area, Laguna and other places in Luzon
• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Willing to be assigned/relocate to any project location in Luzon and Visayas
