What You'll Be Doing
Thoroughly inspect and count incoming goods to verify they match the order details and shipping documentation
Liaise with warehouse staff and drivers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with deliveries
Maintain detailed records of all deliveries, including the contents, condition of products, and any deviations from the order
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the delivery process and minimise errors
Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles as needed
Ensure the safe handling and storage of all products in line with company policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a delivery checker or in a similar logistics role
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a delivery checker or in a similar logistics role
Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately count and verify large volumes of products
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and customers
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking procedures
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Excel, inventory software) and barcode scanning systems
Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks, such as loading and unloading vehicles
A keen eye for spotting discrepancies and a proactive approach to problem-solving
