Job summary

Bata ng Calabnugan Inc. is seeking a dedicated Tutor to provide academic support to children through tutoring sessions, helping them improve learning, complete assignments, prepare for exams, and build confidence.

The role also involves assisting with general office duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. We are looking for a flexible, patient, and dependable individual who can work sensitively with children who have experienced difficult pasts, in a mission-driven non-profit setting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or any Bachelor's degree.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and dependable.
• Ability to work with children and learning abilities.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office and online learning tools).
• Willing to assist with general office and light household duties when needed.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and flexibility to work in a non-profit environment focused on the well-being of vulnerable children.
• Ability to work sensitively and compassionately with children who have experienced difficult pasts.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring sessions one-on-one or in small groups to support learning and exam preparation.
• Identify educational needs and create a positive learning environment.
• Assist with general office duties and light household tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operation.
• Organize educational materials and file documents.
• Support other staff as needed.
