Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server 2016 installation and management.
• VMware ESXi experience in virtualized environments.
• Public and private cloud management, including migration from on-prem to cloud.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and protect systems by configuring, installing and ensuring peak performance of database management systems.
• Set security protocols by managing user access and implementing protective policies.
• Strategize to scale through capacity planning and cross-team coordination for scalable database projects.
• Recover and resolve by developing backup and recovery plans and supporting end users.

The Role

What you will do

Maintain and Protect:

• Optimize systems: Your expertise will be crucial in configuring, installing and maintaining database management systems, ensuring that our systems are always running at peak performance.
• Set security protocols: You'll be responsible for managing user access and implementing policies and procedures to protect our valuable data from unauthorized access and external threats.

Strategize to Scale:

• Plan ahead: You will conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage, ensuring that our system is always scalable to meet our business needs.
• Make progress: You'll be a strategic partner, working closely with various teams to coordinate systematic database project plans that align with our organizational goals.
• Generate ideas: You'll have the opportunity to propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system, enabling us to deliver world‑class services to our customers.

Recover and Resolve:

• Be ready to recover: Develop strong backup and recovery plans to ensure that our system is always protected in the event of a failure.
• Support solutions: Use your technical acumen to support end users and application developers in solving complex problems related to our database systems.
