Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) en Madrid busca un Administrador de Bases de Datos (L3 Support) para unirse al equipo y asegurar la disponibilidad y el rendimiento de entornos empresariales.

Se requiere experiencia con SQL Server, MongoDB y MariaDB, instalación, configuración, monitorización, backup y recuperación, y habilidades en alta disponibilidad. El puesto es híbrido con asistencia a la oficina 3 días a la semana.

Qualifications

• 5+ años de experiencia como DBA en entornos empresariales.
• Experiencia con Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB y MariaDB.
• Conocimientos de instalación, configuración, monitorización, backup y recovery.
• Conocimientos en tuning de rendimiento, gestión de capacidad y optimización.
• Experiencia en alta disponibilidad, replication y DR.
• Inglés profesional.

Responsibilities

• Proporcionar soporte L3 y administración de entornos de bases de datos empresariales.
• Gestionar Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB y MariaDB, asegurando disponibilidad y rendimiento.
• Realizar instalaciones, configuraciones, actualizaciones y migraciones de bases de datos.
• Ejecutar copias de seguridad, recuperación, parcheo y mantenimiento.
• Monitorear salud y rendimiento, implementando iniciativas de optimización.
• Investigar incidencias, analizar causa raíz y mejorar soluciones.
• Apoyar alta disponibilidad, DR y seguridad, cumpliendo ITIL.
• Colaborar con equipos de infraestructura, aplicación y seguridad.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:

• Provide L3 support and administration for enterprise database environments.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB and MariaDB platforms, ensuring availability and performance.
• Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades and migrations.
• Execute backup, recovery, patching and maintenance activities.
• Monitor database health, capacity and performance, implementing optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex database incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery and security compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security and service management teams following ITIL processes.

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB and MariaDB.
• Experience with database installation, configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, capacity management and database optimization.
• Experience supporting high availability, replication and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with security, compliance and database governance best practices.
• Experience working within ITIL-based support environments.
• Professional level of English.

WHERE AND WHEN?

• Workplace: Hybrid (Madrid)
• Office attendance: 3 days per week
• Work Schedule: 12x5 coverage (8:00-17:00 / 10:00-19:00)
