Job summary

Arch Global Services (Philippines) Inc. seeks a data scientist to join Strategic Analytics and help design and implement IDP and AI solutions across claims.

You will prepare data for document processing, transform outputs into structured datasets and contribute to automated extraction and data enrichment workflows. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers and data scientists to translate business problems into technical solutions, label data, and evaluate model performance

Qualifications

• Experience manipulating, processing and extracting value from datasets.
• Exposure to data science, software development, engineering or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong critical thinking to tackle complex data challenges.
• Strong communication to convey statistical and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and engineers to translate problems into automated document extraction and data enrichment solutions.
• Manipulate data with Python and SQL Server; write ad hoc queries to investigate anomalies.
• Label and validate training datasets.
• Use AI technologies to extract data from unstructured sources (OCR/ NLP).
• Create technical documentation for end-to-end processes.
• Implement evaluation frameworks using precision, recall, F1, accuracy and metrics.
• Build and monitor performance of solutions with experienced modelers.
