Asian Institute of Management (AIM) seeks a DSAI Research Scientist/Engineer to advance data science, AI, ML, complex systems, and network science research. The role involves educating future data science leaders and promoting DSAI applications in industry and government.
The candidate will publish in high-impact venues, present at seminars, and mentor PhD/MS students within AIM's Data Science programs. Collaboration across researchers and engineers in the ACCeSs lab is essential.
The DSAI Research Scientist/Engineer will play a key role in advancing the research initiatives of the School and the Institute in the areas of data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, complex systems, network science, and related fields. In addition to their primary research role, this individual will actively participate in the lab's educational initiatives focusing on nurturing future data science leaders and researchers, as well as promoting the application of DSAI for innovation in organizations within the industry, government, and other sectors.
Publish in high-impact international journals and conferences.
Present research works to the public through colloquiums, seminars, workshops, or scientific conferences.
Mentor students in the PhD and/or MS in Data Science programs of AIM.
Engage in panel discussions and public forums to share insights on DSAI and to promote the initiatives of the ACCeSs lab.
Collaborate effectively with other researchers, scientists, engineers, and other team members of the ACCeSs lab to achieve shared research objectives.
Education: At least a master’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, operations research, or a related quantitative discipline.
Minimum Experience: At least 3-5 years of research experience.
Business Understanding: In-depth understanding of the application of data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, complex systems, network science, and related fields.
