Eight Under Par (Pawnshop Operator), Inc. is seeking a data privacy lead to implement privacy programs across all functions. You will conduct PIAs, manage DSAR responses, and advise on privacy-by-design while coordinating with section heads to align with organizational objectives.

The role requires expertise in DPA, NPC regulations, GDPR, and privacy governance within financial services or related sectors. A legal or IT/security background is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience conducting PIAs and compliance checks.
  • Ability to draft and review privacy policies and contracts.
  • Experience delivering privacy training and advisory services.
  • Experience managing DSARs, inquiries, and breach investigations.
  • Knowledge of DPA, NPC regulations, GDPR and financial services privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct PIAs and compliance checks; ensure RoPA and data processing registers.
  • Develop/update data protection policies and SOPs; review contracts for lawful processing.
  • Deliver privacy training and advisory; coordinate with section heads.
  • Manage DSARs, inquiries, and breach investigations; ensure timely responses.
  • Collaborate with Privacy Champions to strengthen governance and monitoring.
