Job summary

SunPower is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines connecting Salesforce, NetSuite, HR/payroll, and the data warehouse. You will ensure data quality, scalability, and governance as SunPower integrates data from acquired companies.

The role requires strong SQL, Python or scripting, and hands-on experience with ETL tools and cloud data warehouses. You will collaborate with analysts across time zones to deliver reliable data models and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building data pipelines in production.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT tools.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience integrating data from CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, NetSuite) a plus.
• Ability to work across time zones with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines between source systems and the data warehouse.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data quality issues.
• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to design reliable data models.
• Support integration of data from newly acquired companies into the central platform.
• Implement data validation, testing, and monitoring practices.
• Optimize pipeline performance and costs as data volumes grow.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, transformations, and architecture.
• Collaborate with IT and security on governance and access controls.
