Job summary

Neoware in the Philippines seeks a data modeling specialist to design scalable data models for BI and analytics within the banking domain. You will map requirements to logical and physical models, and ensure governance and documentation.

You will collaborate with data engineers and analysts, optimize data warehouses, and apply normalization/denormalization strategies to support reliable reporting and insights.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data modeling, analysis and mapping experience.
• ERwin or equivalent data modeling tool expertise.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, normalization/denormalization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models for BI and analytics.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses and data marts for performance and reliability.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and reverse engineering of existing systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into data models.
• Ensure data governance, standards and best practices are followed.
• Document data models and maintain metadata repositories.

Job description

• Candidate should have hands-on experience in data modeling, analysis, and mapping, particularly within the Banking domain
• Expertise in data modeling tools such as ERwin (or equivalent tools)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, performance tuning, and normalization/denormalization strategies
• Experience in Banking domain or experience in implementing Banking domain industry standard models
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Develop and maintain data warehouses and data marts for performance and reliability
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and reverse engineering of existing systems to create optimized models
