Job summary

TASQ is seeking a hands-on Data Migration Technical Lead to own complex, high‑volume migration programmes from inception through go‑live. You will work directly with clients to gather requirements, design source‑to‑target mappings, build migration pipelines, and drive quality across delivery.

This dual‑facing role combines client‑facing leadership with hands‑on work writing SQL, building ETL jobs, and resolving data quality issues.

Qualifications

• Delivered end-to-end data migrations in complex environments.
• Proficient in SQL for profiling and transformation; scripting language (Python preferred) for automation.
• Hands-on with enterprise ETL tools: Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend or open-source tooling.
• Managed high-volume data loads with API bulk patterns and governance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sessions to define data scope, cleansing rules, transformation logic, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead discovery workshops translating business needs into migration designs.
• Own client interactions, presenting technical approaches and managing expectations at all levels.
