Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group’s Data Governance team seeks a Data Governance Analyst to advance data catalog maturity, governance workflows, and metadata quality. You will document trusted data assets, manage glossary definitions, and support lineage, ownership, and data quality initiatives across business and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
• 3+ years data analyst or related experience, including proficiency with enterprise governance products or software solutions.
• 2+ years supporting governance, stewardship, quality, delivery, or lifecycle management of enterprise data products, data domains, or critical data assets.
• Experience supporting enterprise data catalog, metadata management, data stewardship, data quality, business glossary, lineage, ownership, certification, and governance workflow initiatives.
• Practical experience with data owners, stewards, engineers, analysts, privacy teams, and tech partners to document trusted data assets and resolve metadata issues.
• Working familiarity with catalog and stewardship platforms such as Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation, Databricks Unity Catalog, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Data Stewardship: coordinate data owner/steward assignments, glossary approvals, metadata remediation, and governance issues.
• Data Catalog: maintain enterprise data catalog, assets, owners, terms, and sources of record.
• Data Quality: define quality rules, monitor results, and track remediation and KPI reporting.
• Data & AI Governance: collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Security, IT, Data Science to operationalize responsible AI requirements.
