Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer building production-grade data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark) and SQL for large-scale data transformation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud-native data storage (Data Lake/Blob Storage).
• Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog or similar data governance tools.
• Familiarity with RBAC/ABAC and multi-tenant data security.
• Experience integrating data pipelines with BI/visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• CI/CD, version control, testing, and code reviews.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines from various sources into cloud data lake/lakehouse environments.
• Develop transformation logic to standardize and enrich data for analytics.
• Create and manage orchestration workflows for pipeline scheduling and monitoring.
• Support data governance and access control models for multi-tenant data.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement platform features.
• Ensure data quality and troubleshoot pipeline failures end-to-end.
• Work with DevOps on security, credentials, and containerized deployments.
