Job summary

Nexperia's Central Factory Automation Group in the Philippines seeks a Data Engineer to enable analytics and data-driven decision-making across manufacturing operations. You will curate data in the data lake, build and maintain data pipelines, and support BI and data science teams with reliable, well-structured data.

Responsibilities include designing scalable data pipeline architectures, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, and delivering high-performance data

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer in Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Data Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and data lake architectures.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL skills (Oracle, Hive, Spark SQL).
• Programming experience in Python, Scala, Java, or C++.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Strong data wrangling, data mining and transformation skills.
• Knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and scalable data systems.
• Ability to design scalable data structures, pipelines and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Understand factory operations and data availability to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams on data-driven solutions.
• Define required data sets and collaborate to acquire data.
• Design, build and maintain data pipeline architecture.
• Develop and manage large, complex datasets aligned with requirements.
• Identify and implement data delivery automation and optimization.
• Prepare data and analyze deep insights into machine/process behavior.
• Deploy, monitor and continuously improve data solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Modeling teams across sites.
