Job summary

Nityo Infotech Philippines is hiring a data engineer to design and optimize data pipelines in a hybrid Manila-based role. The position requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and cloud databases. The team works 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH, with standard business hours and immediate start.

Bachelor’s in CS/IT is required, master’s a plus. Strong analytical skills and data modeling experience are essential for delivering segmentation and data mining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master’s is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong data modeling, data mining, and segmentation knowledge.
• Proficient in Java and Python.
• Advanced SQL database design experience.
• Experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud databases and technologies.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Data Engineering certification is a plus.

Location: Paseo de Roxas, Makati City

Salary: Up to ₱130,000

Work setup: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH

Schedule: Standard business hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Can start immediately

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python
• Advanced hands‑on experience in SQL database design
• Advanced experience with Databricks
• Advanced experience with Azure Data Factory
• Advanced experience with Azure Cloud databases and technologies
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Data Engineering certification (e.g., Azure Certified Data Engineer) is a plus
