Job summary

HSO is seeking a proactive Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies. You will develop scalable data pipelines, implement ETL/ELT processes, and ensure data quality and governance across multiple client environments.

The role demands hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, and SQL, plus strong collaboration with international teams to deliver data-driven solutions and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric required.
• Strong Python and PySpark skills.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions with Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL.
• Develop and support ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Implement data models for reporting, analytics, and AI workloads.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines and platform performance.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, and client stakeholders.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Contribute to engineering standards and CI/CD practices.
