About the Job:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our client's team and help design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will develop reliable data pipelines, support data-driven decision-making, and help organizations modernize their reporting and analytics capabilities. You will work closely with clients and other data specialists to deliver impactful insights, optimize business processes, and ensure data is accessible, accurate, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Azure services such as Data Factory, Functions, Storage, and SQL.
• Design and implement scalable data solutions following Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Integrate data from various sources, including REST APIs and external systems.
• Support clients in transitioning from spreadsheet-based reporting to robust Power BI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Provide recommendations to improve business processes through data and analytics.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
• Work closely with data analysts, BI developers, and other data specialists on client projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure data governance, security, and best practices are followed across solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of solid experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure (Data Factory, Azure Functions, SQL Database, or Synapse).
• Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for scalable data platforms.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and authentication methods.
• Experience with Power BI and modern data reporting environments is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
