Job summary

2X in Manila is seeking a Data Operations Specialist to bridge marketing data sources with analytics platforms. You will design data pipelines, ingest data from marketing/CRM systems, and build reliable data models for analysts and stakeholders.

You will work with Python, REST APIs, and modern transformation tools (dbt/Dataform) on GCP/BigQuery, focusing on scalable, well-documented data solutions and strong data quality practices. This role favors proactive collaboration with US stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related hands-on data role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent.
• Advanced SQL skills to build reusable transformations and analytics models.
• Hands-on Python for data integration, API interaction, processing, validation, and automation.
• Experience with REST APIs including authentication, pagination, JSON, and error handling.
• Experience with dbt, Dataform, or equivalent SQL-based transformation framework.
• Experience with GCP and BigQuery, cloud datasets and models.
• Experience with Stitch, Fivetran, or equivalent ingestion tools.
• Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or equivalent understanding data structures.
• Knowledge of schema design and dimensional modeling.
• Git and code-review workflows for production data solutions.
• Data-quality, testing, monitoring, and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support data pipelines, warehouses, data models, and reusable data products.
• Build data ingestion from marketing, CRM, advertising, and other systems using managed connectors.
• Develop API-based data extraction with authentication, pagination, and incremental loading to cloud warehouses.
• Maintain modular SQL transformations using dbt, Dataform, or equivalent frameworks.
• Use Python for API integration, data processing, validation, automation and reusable workflows.
• Translate requirements into scalable data models and designs.
• Design and maintain dimensional models, facts, dimensions, and data marts.
• Implement data-quality checks, testing, and monitoring for reliability.
• Use Git and code-review practices for production changes.
• Troubleshoot pipelines and data-quality issues; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Build proofs of concept and reusable engineering patterns for scalability.
• Explore AI-enabled data solutions to automate repetitive tasks.
