Innodata Inc. is actively seeking a Data Engineer (Source Access) for 100% remote work to support an AI-focused project. You will leverage Python to access APIs, perform web scraping, and manage data from diverse sources, ensuring reliable access for SMEs and analysts.

As part of a remote team, you will work on testing connectivity, evaluating data collection feasibility, and processing PDF and image-based content while integrating with cloud storage and data pipelines for scalable AI readiness.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on Python experience
• Strong experience with APIs & API integrations
• Strong experience with Web scraping & data extraction
• Strong experience with Cloud storage

• Strong experience with Image processing

Developing and testing web scraping solutions

Pulling representative data samples for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Working with cloud storage and data pipelines

Processing PDF and image-based data

Troubleshooting data access and extraction challenges

Supporting efficient and reliable data collection workflows

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field

3+ years of hands-on Python experience

Strong experience with:
