Job summary

Internetwork Expert in the Philippines is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure that support business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

You will design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts, while integrating data from multiple sources and ensuring high data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases.
• Hands-on ETL development and data pipeline management.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or Scala for data processing.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as QlikView or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance.
• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Automate data processing and reporting workflows.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Document data architecture, processes, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Hands‑on experience in ETL development and data pipeline management
• Proficiency in Python, Java or Scala for data processing.
• Knowledge of QlikView or other BI tools.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance best practices.
