IDC Research Inc. is seeking a Research Analyst to join the Imaging group. You will conduct market research, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights to support IDC's Imaging, Printing and Document Solutions trackers and consulting projects.

You will build forecasts, manage data, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor models for vendors and markets, enabling informed business decisions.

Qualificações

• Minimum Bachelor's degree and 2 years of market research experience.
• Ability to design and conduct primary research: surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
• Skilled in analyzing complex datasets and developing predictive models with familiarity in statistical tools.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and report preparation.
• Strong English written and verbal communication to effectively present findings.
• Efficient in managing multiple research projects and meeting deadlines; strong problem-solving.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
• Strong interviewing and client management skills; inquisitive and probing questioning.
• Understanding of trading business; eager to learn new business strategy.
• Experience in peripherals (printers) market is an advantage.

• Develop, expand and maintain a network of contacts of key channel partners and vendors.
• Monitor and evaluate competitor products, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all program deliverables.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop market forecasts and predictive models using statistical methods and tools to anticipate trends.
• Maintain and update databases with market data and research findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop vendor and market models; support consulting projects when required.
• Cover various IPDS trackers quarterly (HCP Tracker, Industrial Printer, Refurbished Devices, Document Scanners) and support related consulting projects.

About the Role & TeamIDC is seeking a Research Analyst to join the Imaging group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on several of IDC's Imaging, Printing and Document Solution related trackers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to support our business strategies. The candidate should be able to demonstrate ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights by evaluating data from various sources, making sense of quantitative and qualitative information, and providing actionable recommendations.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct primary market research to gather and analyze data for Imaging, Printing and Document Solutions market trends, sales and conditions.
• Develop, expand and maintain a network of contacts of key channel partners and vendors.
• Monitor and evaluate competitor products, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all program deliverables.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop market forecasts and predictive models by utilizing statistical methods and tools to anticipate future trends and consumer behavior.
• Maintain and update databases with relevant market data and research findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized vendor and market models. Including the consulting team to support custom projects when required.
• The analyst will be covering various trackers in the Imaging, Printing and Document Solutions (IPDS) domain on quarterly basis. These are HCP Tracker (Hard-Copy Peripherals), Industrial Printer, Refurbished Devices, Document Scanners, among others. In addition, the analyst needs to support any consulting projects related to IPDS domain.

What You Bring

• Minimum Bachelor's degree and 2 years of market research experience
• Capable of designing and conducting primary research, including creating surveys, conducting interviews, and managing focus groups.
• Skilled in analyzing complex datasets and developing predictive models, with familiarity in statistical tools and methodologies.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and report preparation.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills to effectively present.
• Efficient in managing multiple research projects and meeting deadlines. Excellent in problem-solving.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
• Strong interviewing and client management skils. Able to probe questions/ has inquisitorial talent.
• Understanding of trading business, and enthusiastic in learning new business strategy.
• Experience in peripherals (specially printers) market will be an advantage.
