Position Overview

• The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to support data-driven decision-making. This role ensures data accuracy, develops reporting tools, and provides meaningful insights that help the organization improve operations, performance, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Management

• Gather, clean, and validate datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain databases, data systems, and dashboards to support ongoing business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and reporting needs.

Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Present findings through clear visualization tools (e.g., charts, tables, dashboards).
• Provide actionable recommendations to support business decisions and improve processes.

Business Intelligence & Insights

• Translate data insights into business strategies and operational improvements.
• Monitor KPI performance and highlight variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop data models and forecasting tools.

Tools, Systems & Process Improvement

• Utilize statistical tools, spreadsheets, and BI platforms to streamline analysis.
• Improve data collection methods, data quality controls, and reporting processes.
• Support implementation of new data technologies and analytics solutions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence (or relevant internship experience).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio).
• Knowledge of data cleaning and statistical methods.
• Experience with programming languages (Python/R) is a plus.
