Monee in the Philippines is seeking a data analyst to collect and interpret large data sets across pricing, claims, customer behavior, and business performance. You will build robust data models and dashboards to support actuarial pricing, forecasting, and operational analytics.
The role emphasizes data governance, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration with Business Development, Product, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and IT to translate insights into strategic actions.
Analyze large and complex data sets to extract actionable insights related to pricing, claims management, customer behavior, and overall business performance. Identify data-driven trends, patterns, and correlations that support strategic decision-making across the insurance value chain.
Build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data models to support actuarial pricing, financial forecasting, and operational analytics. Enhance existing models and reporting systems to improve accuracy, usability, and automation.
Design and maintain regular dashboards and business reports that highlight key financial, operational, and customer metrics. Provide ongoing data-driven commentary and insights to explain trends and anomalies, supporting timely business decisions.
Develop visually compelling and interactive dashboards and presentations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik). Translate complex analytical outputs into clear and impactful visual stories for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Promote a culture of strong data governance by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data used across the business. Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with IT and data engineering teams.
Actively collaborate with teams such as Business Development, Product Development, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and IT to support cross-functional analytics initiatives.
