Job summary

ActiveOne Health, Inc. in Taguig City seeks a Fitness Trainer (Dance Instructor) to lead group fitness classes such as zumba, yoga, and dance, and to supervise wellness programs within the company.

You will assess colleagues’ health, create exercise plans, ensure safety, and deliver engaging sessions at our fitness center. The role requires experience in fitness-wellness and a proactive start.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Physical Education, Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Preferably with Fitness Certification Management Experience, Trained First Aider or in the same capacity
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the Fitness-wellness field
• Previous work experience as a Fitness Trainer or similar role
• Knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans according to each client’s needs
• Able to plan, organize, direct and control all Sports & Recreation activities
• Must already have a valid TIN, SSS, Philhealth, Pag-IBIG-HDMF, NBI, Bank Account and Vaccination Card.
• Preferably can start immediately
• Must prepare/provide a 5-10 minute video of leading a group fitness session (with or without an imaginary audience); Feel free to choose the group class type (zumba, yoga, dance, etc.)

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Fitness Trainer (Dance Instructor) who will run and supervise various fitness and health programs, and will be mainly focused on providing group fitness classes (zumba, yoga, dance, etc.)
• Assess the physical and health conditions of the colleagues, create appropriate exercise plans, and monitor their improvement.
• Explain applicable safety rules and regulations (e.g. use of equipment).
• Oversee completion of exercise routines.
• Plan, deliver, supervise fun, engaging, and effective workout classes at the fitness center designed to improve participants’ mental and physical well-being.
• Hold workout regimens during company sponsored events.
• Provide first aid if necessary and immediately refer to the onsite wellness center any participant not feeling well or needs medical attention.
