Job summary

Award-Winning Fintech Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Lead to drive our cybersecurity strategy and governance across mission-critical trading platforms used by financial institutions in Asia. You will lead incident response, risk remediation, and security operations, coordinating with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced production environment.

The role demands 7+ years of cybersecurity leadership, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity/IT security experience with leadership preferred.
• Experience across governance, security operations, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
• Strong communication and ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls and industry best practices.
• Willing to provide support during and after office hours for major incidents.

Responsibilities

• Drive cybersecurity strategy and roadmap, policies, and security standards.
• Oversee security controls across infrastructure, networks, systems, endpoints, and applications.
• Lead risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation plans.
• Manage cybersecurity incidents from detection to containment and recovery.
• Oversee security operations with internal teams and service providers.
• Improve governance and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
• Protect infrastructure and systems through secure architecture collaboration.
• Manage third-party security risks with vendors and external connections.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organisation.
• Engage senior management, auditors, customers, and partners on cybersecurity matters.
• Prepare risk updates and security posture presentations for leadership.
• Lead and mentor the cybersecurity team.
