Job summary

Our Clients in Makati is seeking an IT Assurance Specialist to lead engagements covering information security, cybersecurity, IT governance, and business resilience. You will run client walkthroughs, assess controls, identify risks, and suggest governance improvements while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accountancy, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT assurance, cybersecurity, IT governance, IT risk, or GRC engagements.
• Experience in IT controls testing, cybersecurity assessments, risk analysis, audit documentation, and client walkthroughs.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT assurance and business consulting engagements covering information security, cybersecurity, IT governance, and business resilience, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct client walkthroughs to assess IT processes and controls, identify risks, and recommend improvements to governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Supervise engagement teams by assigning tasks, reviewing workpapers and deliverables, mentoring team members, and maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Manage engagement documentation and project activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and firm methodologies.
