Advanced Outsourcing and Business Services Inc. is seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst in Makati City, Metro Manila. You will monitor security events, analyze incidents, and contribute to risk management initiatives to safeguard digital assets.

The role requires 2–4 years in cybersecurity operations, strong SOC knowledge, and experience with SIEM, IDS, and firewalls. Candidates with relevant certifications and regulatory awareness are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or related role
• Strong knowledge of SOC practices and incident response
• Experience with SIEM, IDS and firewalls
• Understanding of network protocols and architectures
• Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, able to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH or GCIH are desirable
• Familiarity with GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA or local data protection laws
• Ability to work independently and in teams, on-call availability

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events, logs and alerts to identify threats
• Investigate incidents, document findings and recommend corrective actions
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support pen-testing activities
• Develop and maintain risk registers across the organization
• Perform security audits and regulatory compliance checks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities
• Create and maintain security documentation such as incident reports and policies
• Provide security awareness training to staff
• Stay updated on emerging threats and industry developments
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity testing
