Job summary

Counterflow Movers, Inc. is seeking a licensed broker with at least two years of brokerage experience to handle import operations for the Philippines. The role requires knowledge of duties and taxes and a BS in Customs Administration.

You will prepare and process customs declarations, monitor shipments, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure compliance and timely releases. The ideal candidate will manage regulatory requirements, assist with permits, and provide clear updates on

Qualifications

• Licensed broker with at least two years brokerage experience.
• Knowledgeable in computing duties and taxes.
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration is a must.

Responsibilities

• Determine and verify tariff classification, customs valuation, and applicable duties and taxes based on shipment documents and regulations.
• Assist in securing permits, clearances, certificates, and regulatory requirements for shipments.
• Prepare, review, and process customs declarations and import documentation in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Monitor status of customs entries, shipments, assessments, examinations, releases, and related transactions.
• Prepare reports on pending, released, and completed customs transactions as required by management.
• Prepare documents to be processed by the processors.
• Provide timely updates to clients and internal departments regarding the status and requirements of customs transactions.
• Request advances for processing and releasing shipments.
• Perform other operations tasks as assigned by Management.
