Job summary

SM Hypermarket Daet is hiring a Store Cashier (SDET) to perform checkout operations, operate registers and processing payments accurately. You will balance cash drawers, issue receipts and handle exchanges with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree, 1 year cashiering/retail experience, good math and customer-service skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Strong customer service ability.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in SM Hypermarket Daet.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
