The successful candidate will manage an accounting team, stay updated on evolving crypto regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic financial insights and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA a plus.
• 5+ years outsourced accounting, with 3–4 years in crypto/digital assets.
• At least 3–4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of crypto accounting principles, blockchain, and digital asset valuation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and vendor management.
• Strong regulatory and compliance understanding in crypto space.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and excellent leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the accounting team for crypto and digital asset records.
• Supervise reconciliation of crypto wallet balances and transactions.
• Monitor regulatory developments related to digital assets.
• Collaborate with internal teams for financial insights and reporting.
• Manage outsourced accounting processes and vendor performance.
• Review financial statements and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with CPAs on tax filings and audits.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Lead cross-functional projects to enhance financial systems and policies.
• Mentor accounting staff and foster professional growth.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes in crypto.
