Job summary

Globe Telecom seeks a senior mobile developer with deep expertise in native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Obj-C) and strong React Native experience.

You will actively code, optimize performance, design modular mobile architecture, manage state with Redux or MobX, integrate RESTful APIs and back-end services, and contribute in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Active coding in mobile development with strong native Android and iOS expertise.
• React Native experience is a plus and must be actively coding.
• Experience with modular mobile architecture, state management, and bridging native modules.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, NodeJS, Firebase, and backend services integration.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile environment and improve development efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop native Android and iOS applications with React Native contributions.
• Design and implement modular mobile architectures and state management solutions.
• Bridge native modules and optimize performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with product and backend teams, integrate APIs, and ensure quality via CI/CD.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI lag; apply fixes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuously improve development processes.

Actively codes and has strong expertise in native Android and iOS, with React Native experience being a plus.

Hands-on coding experience

Must be actively coding, not just managing teams.

Strong Native Development Expertise - Solid Experience In Both

• Android (Kotlin/Java) - Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack, and Play Store guidelines.
• iOS (Swift/Objective-C) - Deep understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, and App Store policies.

React Native proficiency

Experience with the React Native framework, including performance optimization, debugging, and third-party integrations.

Mobile architecture knowledge

Experience in modular design, state management (Redux/MobX), and bridging native modules in React Native.

CI/CD and DevOps awareness

Experience with automated testing, Git workflows, and release pipelines for mobile apps.

Performance tuning and debugging

Ability to diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI lag across platforms.

API & Backend familiarity

Comfortable working with RESTful APIs, NodeJS, Firebase, and backend services integration.

Agile mindset & problem-solving skills

Comfortable working in an Agile setup and able to identify ways to improve development efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in mobile development.
• Experience with native modules or migrating apps from native to React Native.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with product and backend teams.
