Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university.
• A Master's degree or professional certification in Credit Management or Risk Management is an advantage.

Experience

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in Credit Operations and/or Collections within a bank, fintech company, financing company, or multi-finance institution in the Philippines.
• Proven track record of establishing, building, or significantly restructuring a Collections function, including policy development, team setup, and technology implementation.
• At least 2–3 years of managerial or team leadership experience overseeing collection agents or credit operations personnel.
• Strong exposure to consumer lending products, such as salary loans, personal loans, Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), or credit cards.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, startup, or high-growth business environment.

Key Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of the Philippine collections landscape, including BSP regulations, consumer protection standards, and ethical collections practices.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret Days Past Due (DPD) data, identify portfolio trends, and translate insights into actionable collection strategies.
• Hands-on experience with collection systems, CRM platforms, and reporting tools such as MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, particularly in restructuring repayment plans and professionally managing borrower disputes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Filipino (Tagalog) and English.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and data analytics dashboards to improve team performance monitoring, reporting efficiency, and operational productivity.
