Job summary

Davao Tuna Grill Fastfood Corporation is seeking a dedicated Baker/Cake Artist to prepare and decorate cakes and pastries from recipes while upholding quality and safety standards. This role combines baking craft with creative decoration to deliver visually appealing products.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience, a culinary-related education preferred, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Immediate start available; on-site position in Pasig, Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Baker, Cake Artist, Cake Decorator, or in a similar pastry-related role.
• Skilled in basic baking, icing, piping, fondant work, and cake decoration.
• Knowledgeable in proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure, prepare, and mix flour, sugar, and other ingredients according to recipes.
• Knead and prepare dough manually or using mixers and other baking equipment.
• Operate ovens, proofers, mixers, and other baking equipment safely and properly.
• Monitor baking time, oven temperature, and product quality.
• Decorate cakes and pastries using icing, piping, glazes, fondant, and other techniques.
• Create basic artistic cake designs while maintaining proper color, proportion, and presentation.
• Ensure finished products meet quality, appearance, and food safety standards.
• Properly handle, store, and prepare ingredients and finished products.
• Clean and maintain baking tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow proper sanitation, hygiene, and food safety procedures.
