Job summary

Energy Development Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for timely preparation and fair presentation of interim and annual financial statements for assigned entities in accordance with PAS and PFRS. The role delivers accurate management reporting with variance analysis and supports audits, leveraging SAP to improve efficiency.

Key duties include monthly closing, external regulatory reporting to the SEC/DOE/BIR, and coordinating with auditors to ensure smooth quarterly reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy required.
• CPA credential is required.
• Minimum of two years of dedicated experience in accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly entity closing, review accounts, and prepare financial statements with notes in SAP per PAS/PFRS.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual external regulatory reports to agencies (SEC, DOE, BIR, banks).
• Analyze and deliver monthly management reports, variances, and financial ratios vs budgets.
• Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, and regulators for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Monitor RPA/bot runs, maintain historical financial databases, and use SAP ECC and SAP BPC to enhance reporting.
