Job summary

Our Clients is seeking an Internal Audit Specialist (CPA) to join our Makati City team on-site. The ideal candidate will perform internal audits, assess controls and risks, and ensure regulatory compliance with company policies.

You will prepare findings, support corrective actions, and help strengthen risk management and operational efficiency. The role requires a CPA with at least 7 months of internal audit experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CPA license.
• At least 7 months of internal audit experience.
• Experience in internal auditing and risk assessment.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit engagements to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, and risk management practices.
• Review financial and operational records, business transactions, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate existing policies, procedures, and internal controls to identify weaknesses, irregularities, and potential risks.
• Perform audit testing, risk assessments, and analysis of business processes.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings, reports, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on identified control deficiencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and minimize business risks.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders to gather information, discuss audit findings, and facilitate corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, accounting standards, and established procedures.
• Assist in special audits, investigations, and other risk management initiatives as assigned.
