Job summary

A global technology leader in Cebu City seeks an experienced accounting professional to maintain ledgers, conduct financial analyses, and assist during audits. The candidate should have a BS in Accountancy and a minimum of 3 years experience in audit or accounting roles. Proficiency in SAP and fluent English communication are required. Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the ledger assignment.
  • Conduct analysis for Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
  • Assist and engage with Country counterparts on all matters affecting assigned ledgers.
  • Point of contact for queries to any Accounting and GBS functional teams.
  • Ensure standard policies and procedures are applied.
  • Monitors and ensures the performance of month-end closing activities.
  • Assist external auditors in the execution of audits.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the ledger assignment.
  • Conduct analysis for Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss, monitor trend and fluxes and evaluate accounting implications.
  • Assist and engage with Country counterparts and/or Corporate Accounting Team on all matters affecting assigned ledgers.
  • Point of contact for queries to any Accounting and GBS functional teams, coordinates with relevant parties throughout the statutory audit process.
  • Ensure standard policies and procedures are applied and any exceptions are reported to Corporate Accounting or Local Finance.
  • Monitors and ensures the performance of month‑end closing activities.
  • Assist external auditors in the execution of interim and year‑end audit ensuring timely completion with minimal business intervention.
Minimum qualifications
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably a CPA. With a meaningful 3 years of experience in the field of audit or accounting and reporting team engaged in preparation of the company's financial statement.
  • Knowledgeable in business software such as SAP.
  • Strong personality and has a positive attitude towards work.
  • Fluent in oral and written English communication.
