Job summary

Amex GBT is hiring Specialized Travel Consultants who will work from home to deliver high-touch travel solutions for our top corporate clients. Based in Makati, Philippines, you’ll collaborate with your team to arrange domestic and international trips and provide exceptional service.

Use GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo) to book air, hotel, rail, and other arrangements, while advising clients on policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably corporate travel.
• Solid understanding of fares and ticketing rules for air, rail, and hotels.
• Strong communication in English and proactive client service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers, individuals and groups.
• Book domestic and international travel across air, rail, and accommodations.
• Use GDS tools (Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo) as needed.
• Communicate effectively via phone, chat, and email.
• Act as trusted travel advisor by offering policy-compliant solutions and upsell options.
• Collaborate with team to meet goals and service metrics.

Our Specialized Travel Consultants work in a high-touch service environment to book travel and accommodation for some of our top clients at Amex GBT. What You’ll Do

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations
• Use various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), including Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo. Training may be provided
• Communicate effectively with customers over the telephone, messaging (chat), e‑mail, and/or back office systems
• Act as a trusted advisor by using travel expertise to proactively provide advice and selling additional services to clients to meet their needs while adhering to their company’s travel policy
• Work individually and as a team to meet business and account‑specific goals, which may include customer satisfaction, call adherence and service metrics

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry (preferably corporate travel) and understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel Native GDS expertise (Sabre, Amadeus) Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs Professional communication (written and verbal) Attention to detail Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler information Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation) Resolving customer issues quickly and independently Teamwork and openness to feedback
