Job Summary:

The CORPORATE NURSEis responsiblefor ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees working in high-risk environments. Your responsibilities extend beyond just providing medical care and first aid—integral in maintaining workplace health standards, supporting workers' physical and mental health, and promoting a safety culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Occupational Health & Safety Support
  • Monitoring Health and Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Conducting Health Risk Assessments: Regularly evaluate health risks from hazardous materials, noise, and physical strain in the workplace.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Provide immediate first aid and stabilize injured workers during emergencies.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Maintain medical supplies, participate in drills, and educate employees on emergency procedures.
2. Health Education & Promotion
  • Employee Health Education: Conduct sessions on ergonomics, stress management, nutrition, and injury prevention.
  • Health Screening: Organize regular health check-ups and screenings to identify potential health issues early.
3. Support for Safety Programs
  • Collaboration with Corporate Safety Officer: Work with safety teams to develop and implement safety procedures and participate in audits.
4. Wellness and Preventive Care
  • Promote Wellness Programs: Encourage participation in wellness initiatives like fitness challenges, vaccination programs and alike.
  • Monitor Work-Related Stress: Identify signs of fatigue and stress, collaborating with management to find solutions.
  • Health and Hospitalization Management: Assist employees in health and hospitalization concerns and securing all dependents are enrolled and updated.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting
  • Medical Record Maintenance: Maintain confidential medical records for all employees regarding injuries, health interventions, APE, ECU, & PEME for new hired employees.
  • Reporting to Management: Regularly report on health and safety metrics, including trends and recommendations for improvement.
6. Liaison with External Healthcare Providers
  • Coordinating with Hospitals and Clinics: Serve as a point of contact for arranging medical treatments and consultations.
  • Health Insurance: Assist HR in any related health insurance program.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses i.e., Registered Nurse.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years experience in construction industry focusing in health, safety, and environment.
  • Has an in-depth knowledge in construction documentation.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in medicine and clinical practice.
  • Preferably has a training in BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) and COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and other related software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
