Job summary

Nova Fusion Sdn Bhd is seeking independent contractor video editors based in the Philippines to support the complete creative process—from storyboard and direction to editing and final delivery—while adapting content for SEO and social media visuals.

You will develop concepts, create storyboards, and edit a variety of corporate and digital content, ensuring brand guidelines and deadlines are met. The role emphasizes flexibility, collaboration, and a strong portfolio.

Qualifications

Are you passionate about visual storytelling, video editing and turning ideas into engaging digital content?

At Nova, we create corporate, reporting and digital content for leading ASEAN brands. We are looking for talented independent contractor video editors based in the Philippines who can support the full creative process - from storyboard and visual direction to editing and final delivery - while also adapting content provided by our team into suitable SEO and social media visuals.

What You’ll Do

• Develop video concepts, creative direction and storyboards based on project briefs, objectives and target audiences.
• Edit corporate, social media, interview, promotional and digital video content from raw footage to final output.
• Translate approved scripts and key messages into clear and engaging visual storytelling.
• Handle trimming, sequencing, transitions, subtitles, sound adjustment, colour correction and basic motion graphics.
• Propose suitable visual styles, pacing, transitions, music direction and on-screen treatments to strengthen the overall presentation.
• Work closely with the creative and project teams to refine story flow and visual direction.
• Adapt and resize video content for websites, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social media platforms.
• Support motion graphics, text animation and simple visual effects where required.
• Create visuals, short-form videos, motion posts or other digital assets for SEO-related content based on copy and key messages provided by our content team.
• Ensure all video and digital content follows brand guidelines, project requirements and approved creative direction.
• Manage multiple projects, feedback rounds and revisions while meeting agreed deadlines.
• Maintain organised project files, source materials, storyboards and final deliverables.

What We’re Looking For

Independent contractors with a strong video portfolio, creative thinking and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.

• Strong video editing skills with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent professional editing software.
• Working knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop is an advantage.
• Experience developing storyboards, creative direction and visual treatments for video projects.
• Good understanding of pacing, composition, typography, transitions, sound and visual storytelling.
• Ability to turn provided scripts, copy and key messages into suitable visual content without needing to rewrite the source content.
• Experience producing corporate, social media or digital marketing content is preferred.
• Ability to adapt content into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different digital platforms.
• Curiosity to stay updated with video, motion graphics, social media and emerging AI tools.
• Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative with creative and project teams.
• Adaptable and able to perform under tight deadlines.
