Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a content writer/editor to optimize and refresh website content, blog articles, and comparison pages. You will apply briefs, improve structure, and ensure accuracy while aligning with SEO and user intent.

You will upload content via CMS, format headings, links, tables, CTAs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content over a 3–4 month engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in content writing or editing.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience writing or optimizing website content, blogs, or comparison pages.
• Basic understanding of SEO and search intent.
• Familiarity with content optimization, including headings, internal linking, FAQs, and basic SEO elements.
• Experience working with a CMS for uploading and editing website content.
• Strong attention to detail in content formatting, links, tables, and CTA placements.
• Ability to follow detailed content briefs and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to incorporate feedback and address QA comments.

Responsibilities

• Optimize existing blog articles and comparison pages based on briefs.
• Update content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and freshness.
• Optimize content for search intent, including headings, internal links, FAQs, and basic SEO elements.
• Upload and edit optimized content using a Content Management System (CMS).
• Ensure proper formatting of content, including headings and structure, links, tables, CTAs.
• Review and address QA comments and make necessary content revisions.
• Coordinate with relevant teams regarding content updates and requirements.
• Provide weekly progress updates on assigned content and deliverables.
• Ensure all assigned content is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities
