Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Forecast and arrange weekly activities.
• Plan good sequence of work to prevent unnecessary movement and obstruction
• Prepare and submit needed documents for QAQX and prevent quality problems during construction period.
• Check compliance on material specifications, requirements for formwork, concrete, post-tension, finishing, and etc.
• Manager direct workers and subcontractors to execute work onsite without delay and with applied quality, safety, and knowledge
• Prepare and submit reports (progress report and updates regarding given area/structure)
• Monitor progress of work on daily/weekly basis in view of meeting targets for the month
• Check status of subcontractor/supplier actual services performed and delivered
• Resolve general problems at site and analyze results
• Arrange and attend to authority’s inspection. Plan and undertake defects rectification work
• Contact and communicate with subcontractor in-charge and other department in terms of drawing coordination and site coordination
• Implement Shimizu Standard and lean Project Management of Shimizu standard on site
• Supervise safety installation and dismantling of scaffolding and inspect scaffolding before use of workers.
• Build a good relationship with client and follow their regulations with regards to environment during project construction
• Performs related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Engineer is a plus
• With at least 3 years experience
