Job summary

A construction supply company in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years of accounting experience, and strong knowledge of GAAP and Philippine taxation. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and Philippine taxation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all general ledger activities, including reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing.
• Review and validate monthly payroll and financial reports for accuracy.
• Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Ensure timely compliance with BIR tax requirements.
• Coordinate and support external and internal audits.
• Provide guidance and coaching to the accounting team.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial procedures.
