Job summary

Vivant Energy Corporation seeks a Financial Reporting and Consolidation professional in Makati to oversee monthly consolidation of the group’s financial statements, ensuring PFRS and tax compliance. The role covers PPA adjustments and intercompany eliminations across subsidiaries.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA, a Bachelor's in Accountancy, and 4+ years of related experience, with strong MS Office and SAP skills, and excellent communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relative experience in the same capacity.
• Knowledgeable in PFRS, Taxation Laws and Accounting Policies.

• Ability to use productivity tools and IT software e.g. SAP.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Consolidates monthly financial statements including balance sheet, P&L, changes in equity and cash flow across the group.
• Ensures compliance with PFRS, PAS and applicable tax regulations for group reporting.
• Handles PPA, step-up adjustments, partial sell-down or sell-down of investments and related adjusting entries.
• Prepares variance analysis and monitors financial ratios for the group (VEC).
• Maintains monthly consolidation submissions from subsidiaries and associates.
• Supports process improvements including adoption of Conso tools.

FinancialReporting andConsolidation

• Prepares the monthly consolidated balance sheet, profit and loss account, changes in equity, and cash flow statements
• Proficient in PFRS, PAS and applicable tax regulations pertaining to group reporting.
• Handles Purchase Price Allocation (PPA), step-up adjustments, partial sell-down or sell-down of investments and the recording of adjusting entries in the consolidated FS.
• Ensures compliance with accounting standards
• Prepares variance analysis
• Follows through with respective point person(s) on outstanding action plans for conso items to ensure these are addressed prior to the next meeting;
• Monitors the financial ratios for VEC
• Monitors the submission of monthly financial statements from subsidiaries and associates
• Contributes to process improvements by adopting to modern technology and challenging current business practices (i.e Conso tool);

Mergers&AcquisitionAnalysis

• Assists in the preparation of Financial Due Diligence for power projects
• Research on the latest updates on Accounting and Tax Standards
• Prepares financial analysis on the Company’s plan for mergers & acquisitions
• Attends the project update and coordination meetings
• Monitors the conditions subsequent items for any share sale and purchase agreements
• Assists in the preparation of risk matrix for project
• Monitors the status of all power projects

MasterDataManagement
